County of Warendorf - Braking for a hare: rear-end collision with two injuries

Because a 26-year-old driver allegedly slowed down because of a hare, there was a rear-end collision in the district of Warendorf with two people injured. According to initial findings, the driver of the rear car noticed the braking too late, the police reported on Thursday morning. The 58-year-old was also reported to have been drunk. Both drivers were injured in the accident early on Wednesday evening on the Landstraße 586 between Albersloh and Münster and were taken to hospital in an ambulance. The vehicles were so badly damaged that they had to be towed away from the scene of the accident. The police also confiscated the 58-year-old's driver's license.
