Volleyball - BR Volleys start training on August 1

The German Volleyball Champion BR Volleys has set the preparatory program for the Bundesliga season 2024/25. The training start is therefore on August 1st. Two weeks before the start of the season against the Grizzlys Giesen, the Berliners will undergo a test at a tournament in Gorzow, Poland, on September 6th and 7th. The opponents there include, among others, Poland's First League clubs PGE Skra Belchatow and Stal Nysa. This was announced by BR Volleys on Friday.

At the start of training, however, Chief Coach Joel Banks will only have half of his 14-player squad available. Players like Ruben Schott, Tobias Krick, and Johannes Tille will still be in action with the German National Team at the Olympics in Paris.

The Volleys squad will be complete only on September 5th, when new signing Kyle Dagostino, who is 29 years old and a libero, will have arrived in Berlin. He will be granted special leave due to his wedding.

The preparatory program of BR Volleys includes two test matches against the Brandenburger Bundesliga rival Netzhoppers Köning Wusterhausen on August 22nd and 24th.

In addition to their tournament in Gorzow, Poland, BR Volleys will also play test matches against their Brandenburger Bundesliga rival, the Netzhoppers Köning Wusterhausen, on August 22nd and 24th in Berlin. The Bundesliga season 2024/25 preparations for BR Volleys will take place in Berlin, with their training commencing on August 1st. Despite missing some players from the German National Team participating in the Olympics in Paris, the Volleyball squad will be bolstered by the arrival of new signing Kyle Dagostino, a 29-year-old libero, on September 5th, just before their Bundesliga opener against Grizenny Giesen.
