The Berliners are the defending champs in the DVV Cup, having won the previous final against the team from Ammersee in Mannheim with a 3-0 victory in front of a crowd of over 10,000 spectators.

The Netzhoppers Köln-Wusterhausen also have a 100% Bundesliga match-up. The Brandenburgers will need to make the journey to the Baden Volleys Karlsruhe. The women of SC Potsdam will face a team from a lower league in the first round of the cup, taking on the North-East regional cup winner away from home.

The first round of the cup will take place on November 9th and 10th, with the quarterfinals set to begin two weeks later.
