Boys vandalize school: High damage and loss of lessons
Three boys are said to have vandalized a school in Upper Franconia to such an extent that classes were canceled. The children are said to have knocked over and torn down chairs and tables as well as other fixtures and fittings, causing damage in the five-figure range, a police spokesman said on Monday.
Officers had been called to the school in Steinwiesen (district of Kronach) on Sunday and discovered two boys aged 12 and 13 nearby. They admitted that they had broken into the building by force and had gone on the rampage. Apart from them, another boy of the same age is said to have been involved in the crime. The school remained closed on Monday.
The vandalism in Upper Franconia's school not only led to significant material damage but also disrupted valuable lessons. This type of crime can have lasting effects on the educational environment and the community.
