European Union - Böttger: "We face plenty of responsibilities as a political group"
AfD-Co-Leader Janina Böttger urged for an "open evaluation" of her party's disappointing outcome in the European elections. She stated on Sunday night, "As a party, we have a tremendous amount of work ahead of us to rebuild trust." According to Böttger, both the AfD and the BSW had capitalized more significantly on the "traffic light chaos" compared to the Left. However, they failed to offer satisfying explanations. The root causes need to be identified and tackled. In Saxony-Anhalt, the Left is predicted to obtain approximately five percent in the European elections.
