German Football League - Borussia Monchengladbach confirm Stöger's agreement

Borussia Mönchengladbach has confirmed the addition of Kevin Stöger to their roster. The 30-year-old Austrian will arrive from VfL Bochum on a free transfer and has agreed to a three-year deal that will extend till the summer of 2027. The club made the announcement on Tuesday.

Stöger already bid farewell to the Bochum fans on Monday. He had played for Bochum for two seasons, and his contribution was instrumental in saving their spot in the league as they fought against Fortuna in the relegation playoffs. Gladbach's sports director, Roland Virkus, had this to say about their new signing: "Kevin is an experienced Bundesliga player who has evolved into a reliable leader at his previous teams."
