Striker Abdoulaye Kamara has immediately linked up with English Championship club Portsmouth FC. Neither team revealed the financial details of the deal. The 19-year-old Kamara switched from Dortmund to Paris Saint-Germain's junior setup back in 2021 but failed to break into their main squad. He notched up 48 appearances for Dortmund's reserve team in the third division.

Borussia Dortmund missed out on the opportunity to further develop young striker Abdoulaye Kamara, as he chose to join Portsmouth FC. Despite being a key player for Dortmund's reserve team, Kamara's move to Portsmouth indicates that Borussia Dortmund and he could not reach an agreement for his progression in the first team.
