Berchtesgadener Land - Border control is a driver's undoing

Drunk, without a driver's license and with two arrest warrants against him: During a border check in Freilassing (Berchtesgadener Land district), the police discovered several offenses against a driver. As the police announced on Friday, the 43-year-old from Halle a. d. Saale had refused to give his personal details the day before. The man had already had to surrender his driver's license earlier for driving under the influence of alcohol. Because he was now driving drunk again, new criminal proceedings were initiated against him. After the man had paid almost 2000 euros, he was able to leave the police station on foot.
