According to a statement, there was also a police deployment at a primary school in Zittau, where a bomb threat was received during the night. However, initial investigations did not suggest that the writing was serious. Therefore, the school was not evacuated.

Threats were also received by two schools each in Marienberg (Erzgebirgskreis) and Rochlitz (district of Mittelsachsen), as a spokesman for the police headquarters in Chemnitz reported. Here too, the police did not consider the threat to be serious, so that lessons could continue as normal.
