Authorities probe into the incident. - Body of a young man retrieved from Waldsieversdorf lake

At Waldsieversdorf's Großer Däbersee, a man met his demise during a swimming outing. The 22-year-old victim was discovered in the water on a late Tuesday night, as reported by the Police Directorate East on Wednesday. He was roughly 10 to 15 meters from the shoreline when the incident unfolded. "Then he vanished beneath the surface and couldn't be found anymore," explained a police representative. To recover the man's body, divers had to be called in since the lake is over 10 meters deep. The local authorities are presently probing the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate accident.
