Blue car train to Sylt not affected by warning strike
The car train to Sylt operated by private operator RDC Deutschland is not affected by the 20-hour warning strikes at Deutsche Bahn. The blue car train is running as planned, a company spokeswoman said on Wednesday.
The train drivers' union GDL has called for a warning strike in rail traffic from Wednesday, 22:00 to Thursday, 18:00. The call is not only aimed at Deutsche Bahn employees, but also at employees of other companies with whom the union is negotiating new collective agreements. However, the focus of the warning strike is on the federally owned group.
Despite the 20-hour traffic disruptions due to the workers' strike at various railway companies, including Deutsche Bahn, the tariffs for the blue car train to Sylt remain unchanged. The potential impact of the railroad strikes on traffic has not affected the scheduled journey for the private operator RDC Deutschland's train to Sylt.
