Process - Bloody murder of 23-year-old - murder charge against ex-partner
Almost four months after the violent death of a 23-year-old woman from Netphen near Siegen, the public prosecutor's office has brought murder charges against her former partner. A spokesperson for the authority confirmed corresponding media reports on Monday. The Syrian is in custody. He was arrested shortly after the crime. According to the spokesperson, he could not say anything more about the suspect's alleged motive.
The woman disappeared in mid-August and was searched for with great effort around Siegen. Then a farmer found a female body with stab wounds on a country lane in Emmerich near the German-Dutch border. After a photo comparison, it turned out that the dead woman found was identical to the missing woman. The woman and her ex-partner had two children together, aged one and four, who according to an earlier announcement are in the care of the youth welfare office.
