Social affairs - Biker with beard and cap on fundraising trip
Their reindeer have wheels: the"Harley Davidson riding Santas" motorcyclists dressed up as Santas once again completed their high-horsepower fundraising tour through the south of Rhineland-Palatinate on Wednesday. The initiative's spokesperson, Patrick Kuntz, spoke of a "great, well-rounded event" on Facebook.
The group has been collecting donations for a home for children with cancer since 2015. On Wednesday, the men and women in caps and beards covered around 100 kilometers in the area between Neustadt/Weinstraße (start) and Rhodt unter Rietburg (finish). Numerous companions lined the route. In 2022, around 128,000 euros were raised on the tour.
