- Biker Sustains Severe Injuries in Tumble
A biker took a tumble off his bicycle on a highway and was hurled into incoming traffic. Luckily, an approaching vehicle was able to swerve out of the way on an Alpine road close to Berchtesgaden (Berchtesgadener Land district), but the unfortunate cyclist couldn't avoid colliding with the vehicle. Emergency services had to airlift the severely injured man to the hospital. Preliminary findings indicate that the 24-year-old biker lost control in a curve due to a riding blunder.
The biker's accident occurred on an Alpine road near Berchtesgaden. Despite the vehicle swerving, the cyclist collided in an Alpine area, known for its scenic beauty and challenging terrain.
