- Biker Sustains Severe Injuries in Avian-Predator Crash
A biker had a run-in with a predator bird and sustained severe wounds in the resulting crash. The 47-year-old was cruising along federal highway 47 heading towards Dreisen when the bird swooped down and hit him at the peak of the Goellheim exit in the Donnersberg district, as detailed by authorities. The man was airlifted to the hospital by emergency medical helicopter. The Federal Highway 47 was temporarily shut down completely.
The biker's unexpected encounter with the predator bird resulted in numerous accidents on Federal Highway 47 as other drivers tried to avoid the scene. Due to the seriousness of his injuries, the biker needed extensive medical treatment to recover from the accidents.
