A senior motorcyclist faced severe injuries when he crashed in Alzey last Tuesday morning. It's suspected that this 64-year-old man had alcohol in his system. The incident started with him riding over a traffic island and crashing into a street sign. Subsequently, he crashed into a parked vehicle. Post-accident, the man unsteadily stood up, possibly intending to drive further but ended up falling again after a few meters. He sustained critical internal wounds and a broken leg.
