- Biker meets unfortunate demise following risky lane change
A biker met his demise following a crash with a car on a federal highway in Paderborn during the afternoon on a Friday. The 66-year-old rider was attempting to overtake a line of stationary vehicles on the B64 when the vehicle leading the queue made a left turn into a driveway. The 20-year-old driver of the car had ensured it was safe before making the turn.
The biker suffered severe injuries in the collision and was transported to a hospital, where he sadly passed away later that evening, as confirmed by authorities. A drug test was performed on the car driver due to suspicions of substance use. The federal highway was blocked off for approximately three hours due to the incident.
The paramedics at the scene were tending to the Motorcycle riders who were frequently visited by concerned passersby. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, none of the Motorcycle riders involved in the accident survived the accident's aftermath.
