Bietigheim's handball players lose again
The handball players of SG BBM Bietigheim have suffered their third successive defeat in the Champions League. After losing 26:34 in the first leg against Audi ETO Györ, the German champions and cup winners, who will play as HB Ludwigsburg from next season, also lost the second leg in Hungary on Saturday evening by 29:31 (17:13). Bietigheim is in third place in the Group A table after eight games. Their record is five wins and three defeats.
The SG let a four-goal lead slip away after the break. Karolina Kudlacz-Gloc and Xenia Smits were the Bundesliga club's best scorers with five goals each.
Despite their best efforts, SG BBM Bietigheim's handball team could not secure a victory in the Champions League, as they lost the second leg against Audi ETO Györ by 29:31. Regrettably, this defeat in the Champions League League will continue Bietigheim's poor run, as they are still in third place in Group A after eight games.
