Joe Biden has reaffirmed that he does not want to withdraw from the US presidential election campaign, despite calls from within his own party. During Independence Day celebrations at the White House on Thursday (local time), Biden said that he had no intention of withdrawing.

Biden does not want to withdraw from presidential election campaign

A trailer had urged the 81-year-old [Biden] earlier to "keep fighting". Biden replied that he could count on the supporter. He had no intention of backing down, the 81-year-old continued.

Since Biden's weak performance in the television duel against his opponent Donald Trump last Thursday, there has been a discussion among Democrats about whether they should replace the 81-year-old with another candidate for the presidential election on November 5. Biden spoke with a hoarse voice during the TV debate, repeatedly got tangled in his formulations, and did not finish some sentences.

Despite the criticism following his debatable performance in the presidential election campaign, Biden reiterated his commitment to the election on November 5, expressing gratitude for the supporter's encouragement. Amidst calls from some Democrats to consider a replacement candidate for the upcoming presidential election in the USA, the resilient Joe Biden vowed to keep fighting.
