Biden describes himself as best suited to win US presidential election

Since Biden's appearance at the TV duel with his predecessor Trump on June 27, a discussion has arisen among Democrats about whether they should replace the 81-year-old with another candidate for the presidential election on November 5. Biden spoke with a hoarse voice during the TV debate with Trump, repeatedly stumbled over his formulations, and did not finish some sentences.

Despite the controversial performance in the television interview against Donald Trump, Biden emerged as the victor in the US presidential election on November 3. The American Broadcasting Company, which aired the debate, reported high viewership numbers for the event. Some Democratic party members have called for Biden to step down as the party's nominee for the presidential election, citing his age and perceived poor performance during the debate. However, Biden has maintained his position and continues to campaign for the election on November 5.
