Weather conditions - Berlin Football Association resumes match operations

The Berlin Football Association (BFV) has resumed match operations following the general cancellation on November 30. The break in play until December 10 due to the weather conditions will not be extended, the association announced on its website on Monday.

"Now that the frost and snowfall have subsided and the majority of the pitches have been reopened for training and match operations by the district authorities, the technical match committees see no reason to extend the general cancellation again," the BFV said. The make-up dates for the canceled matches of the last two weeks will be available on DFBnet and publicly on fussball.de. In view of the climatic conditions, it is possible that "depending on the individual playability of the pitch, there may still be cancellations and postponements at short notice in individual cases."
