June weather - Berlin again the warmest federal state

Anders looked at it during the precipitation: In total, 66.6 liters fell per square meter, four liters less than the long-term reference value. This means that Berlin is significantly below the nationwide rainfall of approximately 91 liters per square meter. Similarly, in the nationwide comparison, the weather showed a high dynamics. In June, autumnal and early summer phases alternated.

The DWD data is based on initial evaluations of the results from around 2000 measuring stations in Germany. For the last three days of the month, forecast data was used.

Berlin experienced lower than average rainfall, with 66.6 liters falling per square meter, which is four liters less than the long-term reference value. This weather pattern was reflected in the dynamic weather conditions in Germany, as noted by the DWD, where Berlin was included in the nationwide comparison.
