In the absence of ex-Bundesliga players Axel Witsel and Thomas Meunier, the Belgian football squad began their first training session in Germany. On Wednesday night, Witsel participated in some light running drills at the Wiesentalstadion in Freiberg, while Meunier was still recovering from a muscular injury and hasn't joined the team yet.

The trio of Youri Tielemans, Jan Vertonghen, and Arthur Theate, who were missing from the previous friendlies, were permitted to train for 15 minutes alongside their teammates. Unfortunately, Theate and seasoned veteran Vertonghen had to leave the session early to continue their individual training.

Belgium is scheduled to play against Slovakia in Group E at the Euros on June 13. Following that match, they will take on Romania and Ukraine.
