Belgan målvakt Casteels lämnar Belgien för Saudiarabien

It is said that previous Wolfsburg netminder Koen Casteels is relocating to Saudi Arabia. The agreement is claimed to have been concluded prior to the European Championships.

Belgian goalkeeper Koen Casteels has reportedly joined Saudi Arabian side Al-Qadsiah prior to the European Championship. The 31-year-old exited Wolfsburg after spending nine years at the Bundesliga club.

Casteels had stated that he wouldn't turn down any opportunities until he learned about the project. He, along with his former Wolfsburg teammate Aster Vranckx, was included in Belgium's roster by national coach Domenico Tedesco for the tournament being held in Germany.
