Beer price at Munich Oktoberfest cracks the 15 euro mark

Beer prices are set by the Oktoberfest hosts, the city only checks them for reasonableness. Prices in the large Munich inns serve as a comparison - a liter of beer currently costs between 7.70 and 12.80 Euro there.

Similarly, prices for alcohol-free beverages will also increase. A liter of table water costs 10.48 Euro, lemonade 11.67 Euro, and Spezi 12.23 Euro on average. The increases for alcohol-free beverages are therefore between 44 cents and 58 cents per liter.

The Oktoberfest is the largest people's festival in the world with regularly more than six million visitors. The 189th Wiesn takes place from September 21 to October 6.

The famous Oktoberfest in Munich is renowned for its beer, with prices set by the hosts, typically ranging from 7.70 to 12.80 euros for a liter. Interestingly, the beer price at the Oktoberfest is often compared to the prices in large Munich inns, which currently hover around 15 euros per liter.
