Bayern Munich's President, Herbert Hainer, has voiced his discontent with the Basketball Bundesliga's (BBL) scheduling for the championship series. If there's a fourth game between FC Bayern and Alba Berlin, it's set for the following Friday, which also happens to be the day of the opening match of the European Championship in Munich. Hainer questioned the BBL's decision-making, stating, "The Euro 2024 match has been scheduled for over a year - what were they thinking about that in their planning?" during an interview with Bild am Sonntag.

Despite the BBL's limited options due to the World Cup last year and upcoming Olympic preparations for Paris, the final series is still intense, with up to five games scheduled in a tiring two-day rhythm. The fourth game is at 6:00 PM, potentially ending before the start of the EM match between Germany and Scotland (9:00 PM).

Hainer leans towards a dilemma if there's a fourth game - he either has to miss the basketball or football event. This can be avoided if the team wins games two and three in Berlin on Monday (8:30 PM) and Wednesday (8:30 PM), allowing them to celebrate the championship title earlier.

Serge Ibaka, a key player for Munich, is reportedly set to leave. Encestando.es, a Spanish basketball portal, revealed that the former NBA champion has agreed to join Real Madrid in the summer. Ibaka previously played for Madrid in 2011. Hainer remains optimistic about Ibaka staying for the remainder of the season, citing the positive atmosphere at Bayern, but the rumors persist.
