Bayern with Müller, Guerreiro and Tel against Copenhagen

FC Bayern will play their Champions League group game against FC Copenhagen with Thomas Müller, Mathys Tel and Raphael Guerreiro in the starting line-up. New signing Guerreiro will make his first appearance for Munich in Europe's premier soccer league on Wednesday. Alphonso Davies is also new compared to the 1:0 against 1. FC Köln.

Coach Thomas Tuchel will be without Minjae Kim (bruised hip), Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (knee problem) and Noussair Mazraoui (stomach bug) against the Danish champions. Leroy Sané, who has been under a lot of strain, is on the bench for the time being. After the new absentees, Tuchel only has five outfield players as substitutes. Matthijs de Ligt and Jamal Musiala are still missing.

The team will once again be led by captain Manuel Neuer. The 37-year-old goalkeeper had extended his contract until the summer of 2025 the day before the game.

Munich have already secured their place in the round of 16 and are group winners. Against Copenhagen, they will also be looking to break records. Bayern have not been beaten in 38 group games, with 17 wins in a row in the last eight.

FC Bayern Munich, currently leading their Champions League group, will face FC Copenhagen with Thomas Müller, Mathys Tel, and their new signing Raphael Guerreiro in the starting lineup. Guerreiro, who is set to make his debut in the Champions League for Munich, will look to contribute to Bayern's bid to extend their unbeaten streak in group games, currently at 38 matches and 17 consecutive wins.
