In addition, Vidovic signed a deal to stay with the German title holders until the year 2026's summer. This was a necessity for the loan arrangement to be finalized. As per news outlets, Mainz has the possibility to acquire the 20-year-old for a price of five million euros.

Vidovic Shines in Bayern's Preseason Training

The Croatian youngster has been with Bayern since 2016 and has recently left a favorable impact during the team's preseason sessions. "In recent weeks, Gabi has also performed exceptionally well during our preparations and will now advance his career at Mainz," mentioned Bayern's sports director, Christoph Freund.

Vidovic first stepped onto the Bayern senior team's field in April 2022. Previously, he was temporarily assigned to the Dutch team Vitesse Arnhem and then to Dinamo Zagreb. "Gabriel Vidovic is brimming with talent, he's a first-rate player, technically adept and clever on the pitch," commented Mainz's sports director, Christian Heidel.
