Bayern Munich signs two young players from Haching for millions.

The league-leading team has recruited two promising local youngsters for their youth squad at a steep cost. One is a former acquaintance, while the other has recently made waves in the third division.

FC Bayern brings in two youngsters from the Munich area and spends a million dollars. Maurice Krattenmacher (18) and Gibson Nana Adu (16) are from third-division side SpVgg Unterhaching, according to the announcement by the German football heavyweights. Though Adu will remain with Unterhaching on a temporary basis for one more year.

Unterhaching disclosed that the transfer fees for the two players are within the low-cost million range. Moreover, variable transfer payments have been settled upon.

Jochen Sauer, Director of Youth Development at Bayern, commented on the signings, "We have faith in these players to transition into professional football." Krattenmacher is a former FCB youth team member, while Adu, the youngest third-division goalscorer ever, returns.
