German League - Bayer Leverkusen permanently part ways with keeper Pentz
The German football club, Bayer Leverkusen, and their goalkeeper, Patrick Pentz, will part ways from the upcoming season. The Austrian national player is moving to Bröndby IF, where he was on loan to last season and took over as their starting goalkeeper. The club made the announcement on Monday. As per the sports business manager of Bayer, Simon Rolfes, "Patrick had a highly successful year and in the end, his dream came true at Bröndby where he got ample playing time and made it into the Austrian national team's Euro Championship squad." Pentz's contract with Bayer was initially slated to continue until June 30, 2025.
