Bavarian Forest: Lynx run over and killed

A lynx has been run over and killed by a 33-year-old female driver in the Bavarian Forest. According to the police on Friday, the woman's car hit the rare animal on Thursday in Grafenau (Freyung-Grafenau district). The driver was uninjured.

In Lower Bavaria, where the Bavarian Forest is located, traffic accidents are not uncommon, including one that tragically resulted in the death of a lynx. Unfortunately, another accident involving a car and an animal occurred, this time claiming the life of a lynx in Grafenau.
