American William Christmas is switching within the Basketball Bundesliga from Veolia Towers Hamburg to Niners Chemnitz. The 27-year-old has signed for the upcoming season, thus completing the squad of the Saxons, as the Niners announced.

"Will brings a lot of size and athleticism for the positions he can cover," said Niners coach Rodrigo Pastore about the latest addition. In the previous season, Christmas was the only Hamburg player to appear in all 56 games.

The Chemnitz team had previously had to say goodbye to six players from their starting rotation, including top performer Kevin Yebo. Christmas is the sixth signing of the Niners after CJ Penha, Nicholas Tischler, Eddy Edigin, Olivier Nkamhoua, and Roman Bedime.

After making the switch from Veolia Towers Hamburg, American William Christmas will now be part of Niners Chemnitz's squad. In an effort to bolster their team, the Saxons have secured the services of Christmas for the upcoming season.
