Basketball transfer - Basketball player Christen moves from Ulm to Jena

Wing player Robin Christen leaves ratiopharm Ulm of the Basketball Bundesliga after two years and will play in the 2. Liga for Science City Jena in the future. The club from Donaustadt made the announcement. The 33-year-old Christen joined Ulm from the Hamburg Towers in 2022 and helped the team win the German championship last year.

"Robin had a big impact on our championship as co-captain. He will remain unforgettable in Ulm," said Ulm's managing director Thomas Stoll. After a season with many injuries, Christen now "needs a bigger role, which unfortunately we cannot offer him".

Ratiopharm Ulm, located in the city of Ulm in the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, is known for its successful Basketball Bundesliga team. Christen's decision to leave Ratiopharm Ulm for Science City Jena in the 2. Liga marks the end of his two-year stint with the Ulm-based team. Despite playing a significant role as co-captain in helping Ratiopharm Ulm win the German championship last year, Christen decided to seek a bigger role elsewhere.
