Rhine-Palatinate district - Basement fire: 100,000 euros damage to detached house
A cellar fire in a detached house in Bobenheim-Roxheim (Rhein-Pfalz district) has caused damage amounting to 100,000 euros. The house is no longer habitable. The fire department was able to quickly bring the flames under control on Monday evening and thus prevent even greater damage, the police said. The two residents remained unharmed.
The cause of the fire initially remained unclear. The criminal investigation department has taken over the further investigation. According to the fire department, there was a lot of smoke when the emergency services arrived.

The fire department received a call about a basement fire in a detached house situated along the Rhine in Rhineland-Palatinate.
