Ostalbkreis district - Barn goes up in flames: One slightly injured
A resident of a neighboring house was slightly injured in a major fire in a barn in Bopfingen ( Ostalbkreis district). According to the police on Wednesday, residents noticed the fire on Tuesday afternoon, alerted the police and freed the horses from the barn. The fire was extinguished by 123 firefighters before it could spread to the house. The animals remained unharmed. The police estimate the property damage at around 250,000 euros. It was initially unclear why the fire started.
