- Barn burns out - two apartment buildings uninhabitable
In the district of Karlsruhe, several barns and residential houses were destroyed in a fire, resulting in millions of euros in damages. Initially, a fire started on the roof of a barn in the Woessingen district of Walzbachtal, according to police. The fire then spread to the adjacent residential building, followed by another barn and its associated residence. The barns were completely destroyed, and the houses are now uninhabitable.
The estimated damage is between two to three million euros. One resident was taken to a hospital with suspected smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is still unknown, and there is no evidence of arson.
