What age do kids typically require braces? Do orthodontic methods vary by region? Is gender a factor in treatment? Insurance provider Barmer will release their dental research findings for Rhineland-Palatinate at 10 am today. Researchers from Dresden's Technical University spearheaded the study for Barmer. Dunja Kleis, the regional head of Barmer, will present the results to their policyholders and explain how these findings apply to Rhineland-Palatinate.

The study conducted by Dresden's Technical University for Barmer analyzed various orthodontic methods, including the use of braces with other materials of circular cross-section. The findings may influence the type of braces prescribed by orthodontists in Rhineland-Palatinate.
