Property market updates. - Bankruptcy court orders arrest of investor Lars Windhorst.
The court in Hannover has issued a warrant for the arrest of investor Lars Windhorst. This was confirmed by a representative of the district court in the city on Tuesday after news outlets requested information. Windhorst is accused of not adhering to his responsibilities during the bankruptcy procedure for IZ Hannover GmbH. As the court views him as the de facto managing director, his absence from a hearing on April 22 without offering an explanation has resulted in this action.
Windhorst to Hold Press Conference in Flensburg
The warrant was issued on May 23. Windhorst has lodged an appeal against this measure. Several news organizations have reported on this, including the "Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung."
A representative of Windhorst's Tennor Group confirmed that an appeal has been filed against the arrest warrant. This measure is an enforced action by the court to compel Windhorst to appear in court. Windhorst disputes the accusation that he failed to fulfill his obligations. He intends to speak with both the court and the bankruptcy administrator about the matter.
Windhorst had previously scheduled a press conference for Wednesday in Flensburg, but it was related to the situation of Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft shipyard.
