Authorities in Upper Franconia are still on the hunt for a 33-year-old woman who's been missing since August 1st, in the Eggolsheim region. They've been combing through fields, woods, and water bodies with numerous officers, even deploying divers again. As per the Upper Franconia Police Headquarters' spokesperson,

This search so far hasn't yielded any results. The investigators are hoping to find the missing woman or items that could give some hints about her whereabouts. At the moment, they're not pursuing any particular leads, the spokesperson further stated. This is a broad-spectrum operation in the area she was last spotted.

The 33-year-old woman is known for her activities in the red-light district. According to the police, her last known whereabouts were visiting a 73-year-old man from Forchheim district. They allegedly met in the red-light district some weeks back. The gentleman is currently under arrest, accused of her homicide.

Despite the extensive search in fields, woods, and water bodies, no signs of the missing woman have been found. The investigators are also seeking any items that could provide clues about her whereabouts.

In the course of their investigation, authorities have learned about the woman's activities in the red-light district and her recent encounter with a 73-year-old man from Forchheim district.
