The authorities are currently looking for a 19-year-old named Valeriia in Döbeln, Saxony. She was last seen leaving for school in Bayerische Straße on Monday at around 6:50 am, as stated by the Chemnitz Police Department. However, she failed to show up at school.
Ordinarily, Valeriia uses public transportation to commute to school, but the police have not been able to confirm if this was the case on that particular day. There's no information regarding her activities that day.
When she didn't return home from school in the afternoon, her family reported her missing later in the evening. The police promptly launched a search operation and inspected potential areas where she may have been. A police search dog and a helicopter were also utilized in the investigation.

The authorities characterize Valeriia as being approximately 1.40 meters tall with dark blonde hair that falls to her shoulders. On the day she went missing, she was wearing a lavender T-shirt, black jeans, a light turquoise jacket, and dark blue ankle-high shoes. She carries a pink school bag.
