Inundation Overwhelms Area - Authorities evacuate residents in Augsburg and Memmingen areas.

Approximately 250 THW crew members are actively tackling the floods in southern Bavaria, as reported by THW. They're filling sandbags and constructing dams in areas known as Lindau, Memmingen, Neu-Ulm, and Fischach. Additionally, they're using foils to reinforce the stability of certain dams in order to prevent them from breaking. Lastly, they're utilizing high-powered pumps to extract water from the reservoirs, alleviating the stress on them.
