Border authorities at the German-Dutch border in Twist, Lower Saxony, confiscated around 80,000 euros worth of marijuana during a vehicle check. The Osnabrück Customs Office reported finding over eight kilograms of the substance in a car with a German license plate. On Tuesday, this vehicle was stopped at the border crossing and then brought to a commercial area for a thorough check. The officers found the weed stashed in several bags in a cardboard box on the back seat and a big plastic container in the footwell. The driver was temporarily detained and an investigation began.
