The police and prosecutors informed everyone about this on Wednesday, revealing that the Dutch gang members were known for stealing and taking apart mostly small vans. They would then sell the parts for high profits, according to the statement.

The raids were made possible by collaborative efforts between law enforcement agencies in both countries. The goal was to curb cross-border vehicle theft crimes. According to the announcement, 9 locations were searched on Tuesday. The operation may have continued, but no further information was provided by the police or prosecutors at first.
