Authorities are currently probing the origins of the forest blaze in Brocken.

It's worth clearing up if the statement about the weather was made first. The tanker trucks, used to douse the flames at the affected areas along the railway line, continued to wait in standby mode. All additional actions were advised to be reduced. There's a possibility that a drone could be sent out on Wednesday as well.

The wildfire erupted adjacent to the Kessel Klippe on the Brocken around Friday afternoon, initiating an extensive firefighting mission. During the weekend, numerous firefighters, along with firefighting planes and helicopters, were sent in. By Sunday, Landkreis Harz announced that the blaze had been brought under control.

The forest fires near the Kessel Klippe on the Brocken caused significant damage to the surrounding forest. In response to the forest fires, emergency services continue to monitor the situation, keeping tanker trucks on standby in case of any flare-ups.
