Austria international Wöber believes the DFB team will have a good European Championship

Austria international Maximilian Wöber believes the German national soccer team will have a good European Championship next year despite their negative run. "If Germany win two test matches in March, the mood will be completely different again. The quality is there, they have incredible players and a top coach," the Borussia Mönchengladbach professional told the TV channel Sky. It's about finding the right middle ground and the question: "How many superstars can fit on the pitch at once".

Wöber, who came on as a second-half substitute in Austria's 2-0 win on Tuesday, is by no means writing off the DFB squad for the European Championship. "I'm sure they'll send a good group to the European Championship," said the 25-year-old, who Gladbach loaned from Leeds United at the start of the season. The defender is looking forward to taking part in the European Championship with Austria. "Everything is running automatically for us at the moment. We have a well-coordinated squad. In addition, the philosophy and tactics of Mr. Rangnick and his coaching team harmonize perfectly," said Wöber.

Wöber, being a Bundesliga player for Borussia Mönchengladbach, has kept a close eye on the German national soccer team's preparations for the European Championship. He expressed his belief that Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach could potentially provide key players for the DFB squad.
