Football matches await - Austria features 12 Bundesliga players in their European Championship roster.

Ralf Rangnick, Austria's football national coach, will be bringing twelve Bundesliga players to the Euro 2020 in Germany. According to the Austrian Football Association's statement made on Friday, players like Konrad Laimer from FC Bayern Munich and Marcel Sabitzer from Dortmund are expected in the final 26-member squad. Christoph Baumgartner and Nicolas Seiwald, both from RB Leipzig, are included in the team.

Stefan Lainer, who initially made the provisional squad from Borussia Mönchengladbach, will be out of action during the EM season showpiece from June 14th to July 14th. Unfortunately, star player David Alaba from Real Madrid is unable to attend due to injury.

On June 12th, the Austrian team will head to Berlin for their EM quarters. Their opening match takes place on June 17th in Düsseldorf against France. More group matches against Poland and the Netherlands will be held at the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
