Soccer - Augsburg Thorup warns: Nothing comes "by itself"
FC Augsburg can plan for the away game against Werder Bremen with a complete squad. Right-back Robert Gumny, who was absent from Sunday's 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt due to illness, is back in training, as coach Jess Thorup reported on Thursday. In addition, defender Felix Uduokhai (ankle problem) and midfielder Arne Maier were also able to take part in training after weeks out due to an ankle injury. "That's very good, of course," said Thorup about the comfortable personnel situation.
After six unbeaten games, the Danish coach wants to continue this run of success at Werder Bremen on Saturday (3.30pm/Sky). "We have to remember that nothing comes by itself," warned Thorup. However, he is not particularly concerned about complacency. "I'm quite sure that won't happen with my team," he said.
