Frozen puck sports - Augsburg Panthers acquire two new net minders
The Augustburg Panthers have filled out their goalkeeping trio. This Bavarian ice hockey division one squad has signed American Strauss Mann and junior player Konrad Fiedler, according to a statement on Thursday.
Mann has a history of playing in countries like the United States and Sweden. More recently, he was with Laval Rocket in Canada. Fiedler spent the last two years with the Panthers due to a development license, but he played for partner team EC Peiting during that time. Now, he'll be taking over as the team's third-string goalie for the DEL club.
