Soccer - Augsburg B team plays 0-0 in test against Unterhaching
One day after the home win in the Bundesliga against Eintracht Frankfurt, a B team from FC Augsburg played a 0-0 draw in a test match against third division club SpVgg Unterhaching. The match took place on Monday afternoon in frosty conditions without spectators. None of the Augsburg players from Sunday evening's starting line-up made an appearance. The training match was primarily intended to give the reserves in the FCA squad around substitute goalkeeper Tomas Koubek match practice.
Under Thorup's predecessor Enrico Maaßen, Augsburg were knocked out of the DFB Cup in the first round against Haching. FCA continue their Bundesliga campaign next Saturday (3.30pm) away against SV Werder Bremen.
