Aue extends with Barylla until 2027
Anthony Barylla is staying with third-division soccer club FC Erzgebirge Aue for the long term. The defender has extended his contract, which was due to expire at the end of the season, until June 30, 2027, the club announced on Thursday. The 26-year-old only recently returned to training with the Erzgebirge after having to take a break since mid-September due to a thigh injury.
"The contract extension at this point in time immediately after his injury break is also a vote of confidence and a signal of the central role Anthony Barylla plays in our plans. He is just entering his prime and is versatile in defense and always reliable," said Head of Sport Matthias Heidrich.
Anthony Barylla's commitment to soccer extends beyond the current season with FC Erzgebirge Aue, as he has signed a new contract that will keep him with the 3rd league club until 2027. The defender's impressive skills and versatility in defense have earned him a crucial role at FC Erzgebirge Aue, according to Head of Sport Matthias Heidrich.
